Auditions:
All
prospective new singers must audition with the
director prior to rehearsals. Contact Tim Ahern
at 319-208-5247 for an audition time.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals
will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings at
Burlington Community High School choir room from
7 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. starting approximately 6
weeks prior to our concert. All singers are
expected to attend the choir retreat held on the
Saturday morning before weekly rehearsals begin.
Extra rehearsals may be scheduled on the Friday
and Saturday of the concert weekend.

Attendance:
Due to
minimum rehearsal time, it is imperative that
singers attend all rehearsals. If a
rehearsal must be missed, please notify the
director. Should a singer be absent more than
two times before a concert, that singer will
be contacted. Satisfactory knowledge of the
music must be demonstrated to maintain
membership in the ensemble. It is essential
to have all singers present for every rehearsal,
so that all parts will be balanced for the
performance. If circumstances beyond your
control should happen, contact the director as
soon as possible.
Attire:
Concert
attire for performances will be black
tuxedos/white shirts and black shoes for the men
and black concert dresses, black hose (no half
hose), black shoes and gold jewelry for the
women. Al women wear the same dresses/styles.
